Today

Today, marks 30 years since we last saw our daughter, Heather. They say "that time heals all wounds". While I find truth in that saying, it is also true that "absence makes the heart grow fonder". Thirty years ago today, we attended Heather's funeral. It was the Wednesday before Thanksgiving in 1979. It rained the day before, just like yesterday. Heather would be 36, but in Heaven it makes no difference. 6 or 36, every moment is HEAVEN there!

That is a thought that makes me happy.
