Provisions

You and I spend much of our lives working to PROVIDE. We want a decent and comfortable life and so we work hard. When we start a family, we step things up. More people more provisions. It escalates to grand kids and we step it up again.

But that's not all! We worry if our government provides us enough (or too much). We are concerned about our friends and acquaintances. Are they getting more than us? At church we wonder if we are providing enough and/or is the church providing enough to us? Is the school providing good educational value? PROVIDE

I listened as a speaker recently tested me, when he stated: "We don't believe that GOD will provide." He said that if we did we could all get along and have much more time to be better Christians. He says that we believe the theology of GOD providing our needs, but we don't live it. If we trusted GOD to provide we would not worry about the government, fear our safety and many other things that keep us from being content.

Just something to think about!
