We went to a concert last night. (How Novel!) Sam Bush was playing in Fort Smith and we went with a group to see him. Carol and I had listened to him in Nashville a few years ago in a interview and performance show at the Country Music Hall of Fame. We also saw him last Sunday at the ACMs performing with Darius Rucker. Last night was just him and his band showing why he is a master at the mandolin (some say best in the world). He has played all his life and is one of the most sought after musicians.
Before the show we met him out on the sidewalk. One of our party, Jim (Hank) Blair is a friend of Sam's and he stopped to talk. He recommended where we should eat before the show! After the show I got his autograph and talked to him about the Vegas show.
He is one of the good guys of music. Whether, bluegrass, country or rock, he can do it all.
